Award-Winning Video Runs at Education Center
June 08, 2003
Hudson Baylor offers its congratulations to Barry Fuller and MediaWorks of Tempe, Arizona, for winning an Aurora Platinum-Best in Show award for its video "Reflection of a Vision."
"Reflection of a Vision" was co-produced by MediaWorks and the Pima-Maricopa Salt River Indian Community, and is shown at the Education Center located in the River Recycling facility located at the Salt River Landfill.
The Aurora Awards are an international film and video competition that recognize excellence in local, regional, independent, and industrial production. The Platinum Award won by MediaWorks is in the category of Visitor Center Presentation.
"Reflection of a Vision" is part of the program that runs regularly at the Education Center at the River Recycling Materials Recycling Facility. Groups may schedule a visit to the Education Center by contacting Randy Watkins of the Salt River Landfill at 480-941-3427.
Hudson Baylor continues to seek additional volumes to feed its continued growth. Says Fiber Division manager John Formisano, "We've grown, and we have much more room to grow. We're always looking for more material to put through our system."
River Recycling, a Hudson Baylor company, owns and operates the 37,000 square foot, state-of-the-art materials recovery facility ("MRF") located at the Salt River Landfill. During the design stages for the recycling facility, space was specifically allocated to accommodate the Pima-Maricopa Indian Community's Education Center. We offer our sincere congratulations to the Community, MediaWorks, and Barry Fuller for winning this well-deserved award.
