Hudson Baylor Wins Mesa, AZ Bid
October 01, 2004
Hudson Baylor is pleased to announce that it won a recent bid to process nearly half of the residential recyclables collected within the City of Mesa, Arizona. This represents an extension of Hudson Baylor's existing working relationship with the City, as Hudson Baylor's River Recycling MRF already processes the other part of the City's recyclables that were not covered under this RFP.
Since 2001, the City of Mesa broguht just over half of its reclycables to River Recycling under its Inter-Governmenal Arrangement with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community's Salt River Landfill. The remaining recyclables were processed elsewhere. In August, the City issued an RFP to receive, process, and market the remaining recyclables not covered under the Salt River IGA. Hudson Baylor is proud to have been selected by the City under this RFP process, and began accepting this new volume from Mesa on October 1.
