Schools Recycling Programs

In the East, HBC began a weekly recycling service for the Ridgefield, Connecticut School District at the start of the school year in September 2007 to pickup and process all the recyclables collected at each of the district’s 10 school locations.  HBC provides the collection containers and pickup service at no cost to the District.  This program builds on the success of the recycling program instituted at the District’s administrative offices in the Spring and Summer of 2007. Over the first month, the weekly average pick up is over 5 tons from all of the locations and growing.

Hudson Baylor also brought it’s East Coast experience to the Phoenix Valley by adding school recycling services to the Camelback High School and the Christ Lutheran School in Phoenix at the start of this school year.  Similar to our services back east, HBC provides weekly pickup and processing of all recyclable material at these two schools from HBC’s facility at 1919 University Drive in Phoenix.
