Shred Day in Brookhaven

HBC provided its mobile shredding truck to the Town of Brookhaven for the Town’s first public shredding event on Saturday, October 13, 2007. At this event, the Town and HBC provided secure document shredding services for well over 100 residents. Made up of multiple boxes of personal records from Town residents, this secure shredding event provided information security to the Town and also resulted in the shredding over 7,000 pounds of recyclable material. This was the second document destruction service provided to the town by HBC. The first allowed the town to clear out office material that required confidential destruction on the site of the town’s office building in the Spring of 2007.
